THESE TERMS OF BUSINESS APPLY TO ALL ORDERS PLACED WITH US ONLINE ON AND AFTER THE 20th NOVEMBER 2023
1. The Purchaser
1.1 You acknowledge that when placing an order via our website www.jr-engineering.co.uk you agree to these terms.
1.2 You have read through these terms before completing your order.
1.3 You are over the age of 18.
1.4 The information you have provided when placing your order is accurate and up to date, with all sections completed. The information is your own and not fraudulent.
1.5 You acknowledge that under certain circumstances, the terms may be added to and/or replaced. Should this be necessary you will be contacted prior to these changes in writing to be made aware.
1.6 This contract will be applicable and legally binding once your order is confirmed by us.
1.7 You as the purchaser agree to our returns policy before completing any order.
1.8 Any order placed by you will be represented by a separate contract.
1.9 You agree that it is your responsibility to ensure you have ordered the correct product/quantity before completing your purchase. We will not be held responsible to any information provided by you that is incomplete, inaccurate or misleading.
2.0 You will not tamper, alter or amend any registered trademarks or branding on are product you purchase. Should this happen, appropriate action will be taken.
2.1 In the case of a returned order, the goods must not have been used and remain in the same packaging as which they were supplied. Failure to return the whole item means we reserve the right to deduct this amount for the full price.

2. The Seller
2.1 We may contact you to inform you that we are unable to accept your order for such reasons as:
2.1.1 Any item which has been incorrectly priced. This includes any offer/promotion that has expired.
2.1.2 The item is no longer available.
2.1.2 Stock of any item is unable to be sourced.
2.1.3 The purchaser has provided inaccurate information when completing their order.
2.2 You may amend your order by contacting us promptly via office@jr-engineering.co.uk or via our chat section on our website. Details surrounding order amendments are outlined in our return policy.
2.3 If any item has been discontinued, we reserve the right to cancel your order. We may also offer an equivalent product or alternative of matching standard and value. You are entitled to refuse to accept this agreement and accept a full refund.
2.4 All information provided including specifications, descriptions, sizing and images by us are presented to uphold a general idea of the product. It is your responsibility to ensure that you as the purchaser, have ensured that product has been thoroughly researched prior to ordering and is suitable for your needs and requirements.
2.5 Technical specifications are approximate unless otherwise stated.
2.6 All items are sold as product only. No installation or additional product are supplied with any purchase unless stated otherwise.
2.7 Additional accessories and parts are to be purchased separately.
2.8 We will occasionally offer promotional codes and discounts. These codes are redeemable only online and for a limited period of time which will be stated clearly on the original advertisement. These are applicable to both new and existing customers for any qualifying purchase. Promotional codes are non-transferable and non-refundable. We reserve the right to cancel any order that mis-uses any promotional code, including expired, incomplete or illegal codes.
2.9 Your order will be cancelled if we are unable to authorise your payment.

3. Pricing
3.1 Whilst we try our best to ensure pricing is accurate and correctly displayed on our website some prices may be listed incorrectly. Should this occur, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the goods at the correct price. We will therefor cancel your initial order should this error occur and you will receive a full refund for the amount spent.
3.2 Our prices listed are inclusive of VAT.
3.3 Delivery fees are added to the order via the checkout tab and instructions will be stated in your order confirmation.
3.4 Free delivery is available for orders that have been arranged to be collected via our premises. You will be contacted once this it is ready to collect.
3.5 The entire cost of any delivery arrangement made by yourself and not by our standard procedure will be arranged and paid for by you the purchaser.
3.6 Unless stated otherwise all quotations are valid for 30 calendar days.

4. Payment
4.1 We will issue an invoice once an order has been accepted by us.
4.2 The payment method must be accurate and legal. We will cancel any order that is suspected to be fraudulent.
4.3 The payment method will be charged once the order has been placed.
4.4 If you do not return any good to us within the correct time frame as outline in our returns policy, we reserve the rights to collect the goods from you at your expense.
4.5 The price paid for the goods is in sterling (GBP) (£) and inclusive of VAT at the applicable rate.

5. Click and Collect
5.1 Any order that you wish to collect should be indicated via the correct delivery option.
5.2 Your order will be ready to collect at the agreed time once you have received a delivery notification.
5.3 You agree that you have correctly selected the right delivery method before completing your order.
5.4 We will hold your order for 7 days past the agreed collection time. If you fail to collect your order within this time without notifying JR Power Engineering we will cancel and refund your order.

6. Delivery
6.1 Delivery time is approximate. Stock levels and other means out of control may delay your order. Should this happen you will be notified at the earliest convenience.
6.2 The cost of delivery will be displayed in the checkout.
6.3 By completing your order you agree to the delivery costs and accept this fee.
6.4 You have the right to cancel any order without liability to us if delivery is more than 30 days late, following which you will receive a full refund.
6.5 Any claim that any Goods have been delivered damaged or do not materially comply with their description will be notified by you to us (and where appropriate, to the carrier) within 7 days of their delivery.
6.6 We may at our discretion deliver the Goods by instalments in any sequence. - Where the Goods are delivered by instalments.
6.7 Risk in the Goods passes to you when you collect the Goods or they are delivered to you.
6.8 On the passing of risk in accordance with clause 11.1, you will ensure the Goods against theft, or any damage howsoever caused.

7. Warranty
7.1 Warranty is supplied in accordance with the manufacturer of the product.
7.2 For any warranty issue, you must notify us as soon as possible via office@jr-engineering.co.uk
7.3 If any issue is not deemed to be upheld by the warranty you will be notified of any charge that is applicable.
7.4 If Goods become faulty after expiry of the Warranty, we will not be held liable for any replacement or repairs that you request for such Goods.
7.5 In the event the manufacturer does deliver defective or non-conforming Goods to you, we shall use our reasonable endeavours to procure that the manufacturer rectifies such defect or non-conformance in accordance with the terms of the manufacturer’s warranty.
7.6 We will have no liability with regard to any claim in respect of which you have not complied with the warranty claim procedure.

8. Returns and Refunds
8.1 We understand there may be circumstances where you may need to return an item to us. Our returns policy is set out below. We will always process returns in accordance with this policy.

8.4 If You Change Your Mind

8.5 Before Dispatch. This section sets our policy in respect of 'change of mind' returns. Please refer to the section below in relation to faulty items.
8.5.1 If you change your mind after you place an online order, you will have 15 minutes after placing your order to cancel it. You can do this by contacting us within this period. Please also indicate the time the order was placed, and the time of sending the email for reference.
8.5.2 If payment has not yet been taken, we will not charge you after you have cancelled your order. If payment has already been processed, a refund will be sent to your original payment method.
8.6 Changing Your Mind - After Dispatch. If you change your mind after you receive your item, you should notify us of this within 14 calendar days of you receiving your item. In order to return your item you should:
8.6.1 Ensure that the item is still in the same condition that it was in when purchased, with all tags and packaging in tact.
8.6.2 Notify us within 14 days that you would like to return the item by emailing us via office@jr-engineering.co.uk
8.6.3 Once you have notified us of your return, you will receive an acknowledgement and instructions confirming how to return your item to us. Returns should be returned to us via a courier with relevant tracking methods.
8.6.4 You must cover the postage and shipping costs of your return. You should purchase a shipping labels for your courier.
8.6.5 You must ensure that your item is returned to us within 14 calendar days of us acknowledging your return request.
8.6.6bOnce we received your return item, we will conduct a quality check and we will notify you of the outcome of this. If your item is returnable, your refund will be sent to your original payment method within 10 calendar days.
8.7 If your item is faulty of unsatisfactory, please refer to this section. We really hope that you will not need to return a faulty item to us. If you do need to do so, please follow these instructions.
8.7.1 If you are returning a faulty item within 30 calendar days of receiving your goods (or them being fully installed, if we have installed them for you) you can request a refund from us.
8.7.2 If you are returning a faulty item after this period you may request a repair or replacement from us in the first instance. If you are still not happy after a repair or replacement, you may be entitled to all or some of your money back, in accordance with your consumer rights.
8.7.3 If the issue relates solely to a faulty installation (by us), you may request that the item is repaired or replaced and re-installed.
8.8 How To Return a Faulty Item. If your item is faulty, you should:
8.8.1 Notify us of the faulty by email via office@jr-engineering.co.uk
8.8.2 Once you have notified us of the fault, you will receive an acknowledgement and instructions confirming how to return your item to us.
8.8.3 We will cover the postage and shipping costs of your return and instructions confirming how to return your item to us.
8.8.4 The courier will usually specify that the label be used within a fixed period. You will be provided with instruction about this with the shipping label.
8.9 Once we received your faulty, we will conduct a quality check and we will notify you of the outcome. If you are entitled to a refund, this will be sent to your original payment method within 10 calendar days following the outcome of the quality check.
8.10 If you entitled to a repair, replacement or re-installation, we will arrange an engineer attend the site within 10 calendar days to assess the damage / issue and conduct a quality check.
